Open Water Concepts is a SeaDek Certified Fabricator™. We design, measure, cut, and install custom SeaDek pads tailored to fit your specific boat.

What is SeaDek? SeaDek is a closed cell EVA foam created for a multitude of marine applications. It is most recognized for providing a non-skid traction surface. While it’s the decking choice for the America’s Cup Oracle Team boats, it is just as fitting on an open flats boat or offshore center console. In addition to providing a non-slip surface, SeaDek acts as an anti-fatigue by absorbing shock, protects surfaces against scratches, chips, and dents, and reduces noise on the deck.

Using our state-of-the-art CNC machine and digitizer, we can create completely customized pads for your entire boat or any portion of your boat. The most common areas for SeaDek pads are swim platforms, cockpit pads, steps, helm stations, poling and casting platforms, foot wells, gunwales, coaming bolsters, and trailers.

We offer a variety of thicknesses and 16 different colors as well as two different finishing textures; brushed and embossed. The colors offered by SeaDek can either be used as solid colors or can be placed on top of one another. This multi-layered sheet enables us to cut through the top layer and engrave a contrasting colored logo on the bottom layer. If it’s the name or make of your boat, your favorite fish, a ruler to measure your fish, or anything else, we can make it happen!

All pads are routed to leave a beveled border edge for a smooth transition and reveals the bottom layer color on multi-layered sheets. So, whether you are an avid fisherman or an occasional recreational boater, the functionality and comfort of this product makes it perfect for your days on the water.
